You know, several years ago there was a Canadian study that measured gas expulsion of humans. It found that the average adult human emits about 3 liters of methane a day.

There are 7 billion humans on earth and 365 days. Perhaps you mathematic loving persons will do some math.

As far as farting cattle, the oil industry figured out that problem years ago with a flare boom. We just attach a flare boom to the intestines of the cattle with a auto igniter and wola. If this experiment is successful it could be adapted to humans as the average human expels gas four times an hour. Has anyone done a study on the environmental effects of human farts? If not, they should. Sure, the average cow puts out more gas than the average human, but there are a lot more of us than of them. We have to be endangering the Planet too, one fart at a time.

I would go along with banning farting cow ON airplanes. I was seated next to a 400 pounds flatulent cow from New York to Dallas-Fort Worth last week. I was grateful that the airlines have banned smoking on that route as the methane explosion might have taken the plane down.
