Will they be aiming for the radical base, or for the endorsement of Hillary? If the Beast is still around, she has the funds to affect the primary race, but she has not so far been as radical as the worst, so these are two very different positions. And meanwhile a few of them may realize that the last extreme lefty to run against an incumbent was Mondale, and the one before that was McGovern; they might have difficulty retreating to the center for the November election, if they settle on a radical.
Good point. My other thought was that they can stack up as many as they want to, and there’s still a good chance that ‘She Who Shall Not Be Named’ will wipe them all out and be shoved in there...AGAIN!
