I am the complete inverse of that. Terrified of coasters as a kid. That completely changed in my late 30's and now in my (ahem) 60's we are heading back to the roller coaster capital of the world this summer...Cedar Point.
Cannot wait to hit Top Thrill Dragster (and the 17 others) multiple times on multiple days. 120 mph in 4 seconds to 400 feet straight up...smooth as silk. Kingda-Ka at 6 Flags New Jersey is faster at 128 mph and taller but considerably rougher.
