It looks like fun and I wish I had the stomach for it. It wouldn’t be so fun however when everyone is covered in puke and there’s a dead body with an exploded heart.
Great ride...rode it a few times last year when there was no line, with my daughters. It’s cousin, “Nitro” in Six Flags Great Adventure NJ, is more intense though
Apollo’s Chariot is a GREAT ride; I’ve been on it numerous times.
On Apollo Chariot’s first week (late 1990s, I believe), Fabio, who was riding in the front row, was hit in the face by a Canada goose descending to a nearby pond. Busch Gardens moves the pond and there have been no further such incidents.
Space Shuttle astronauts experienced a maximum of 3G, at least during a normal launch. Re-entry G forces were less than that.
Of course, the 3G loading was felt for eight minutes without interruption, but still.
