Fort Leonard Wood is deep in the Missouri Ozarks. I have a hard time believing that an inch or to of snow would have that effect. An inch or two of ice is a much different story.

That’s what I’m thinking. We get snow in most of Mo all the time. Perhaps because the people at Fort Leonardwood (Fort Lost in the Woods)are from different areas of the US. People here are used to snow but still, go to a store before a big storm and sometimes they are low on milk and bread I’ve heard.
