The nadir of the amoral egotism of what might broadly be called “Me-ism” has been reached by the avant garde of the Democratic Party in their race to the bottom of the electoral depths. The renunciation of any notions of sacrifice, patriotic pride, the spirituality of life, or the recognition of anything except the smash-and-grab politics of endless atomized grievances and instant gratification of convenience, has reached what must, in its way, be the end of history.
The governor of Virginia, Ralph Northam, a pediatric neurologist, led the way downwards with an unctuous statement on the virtues of delivering children, assuring their survival as live babies, and then determining in discussion with the mother (of course) whether they deserved to be allowed to survive...…..
Faced with a Trump they could not defeat and cannot destroy, Democrats appear to be entering a frenzy of primal extremism. If the Democrats go to the voters next year as the party of infanticide, open borders, a 70 percent top personal income tax rate, and the practical abolition of private health care, they will vanish more quickly, and with less distinction, than the Whigs, who at least had serious leaders like Henry Clay, Daniel Webster, and Abraham Lincoln before their party imploded. This thronging riff-raff of Democratic presidential aspirants couldn’t lead the country across Washington’s Francis Scott Key Bridge, and won’t get an invitation to try.

THey seem stronger than ever to me as well. I have no idea what the author has been smoking. Americans know all about the democrat party and what they stand for and put them back in charge of the House just a couple months ago
I used to work with a man who was very liberal and pro abortion. I asked him if he was for late term abortion and he said yes. I then asked him how late. He had no answer. I asked how old he was and he said 45. I said that maybe 50 years old should be the limit. He just sat there with a funny look on his face. He did not think he could be a victim of this kind of craziness.

No offense, but dream on. 2020 is already rigged to have it thrown with illegals voting. If Trump wins, we will still lose both the house and senate (primarily because our party is full of sucks!) and he’s gone before his 5th year really starts. Sorry just being real.
Clay and Webster were major Whig leaders. But Lincoln was just a former one-term Congressman when the Whigs collapsed in 1854.

They raised massive amounts of money and will do so again for 2020. Their spending edge may have been the difference last November (plus redistricting by liberal judges and vote harvesting). Even if Pres. Trump wins next year on the back of a (hopefully) strong economy, I see the Dems winning in 2024 and beyond.
The House is gone because:
1. 40 plus Republican House Members retired. All of them Chickenshit A-holes.
2. Vote Harvesting by Dreamers in CA, believe it or not.
3. The Tax Law change allowing only a $10,000 SALT Deduction which impacted Middle Class Taxpayers. It should have been at least $20,000 to $25,000.
4. Two Years plus of foaming at the mouth Trump hatred by the DNC Media.
5. The usual Party in the White House loses Seats theory.

If you ever run into an Open Borders Moron, ask them to write down their Home Address.
When they ask why, tell them you’ll come by and help them remove all the Exterior Doors from their House and then help them tear down all the Fencing surrounding their Property.
Tell them you will even bring a Sign that they can put in their Front Yard saying “Bienvenidos, Mi Casa es su Casa”.
When the balk, ask them what’s the problem, are they Hypocrites or something?
The address and sign saying “mi casa es su casa” and address should be placed across the border and along highways to the south.
