Great article.

In addition, GND is drastically different from the interstate highway system in the sense that highways benefit virtually EVERYONE - including those who don’t drive on them. They provide paths for quick and cheap delivery of food and products to people all over the country.

The GND is 1% upside and 99% downside. It hurts virtually EVERYONE.

But most of all, GND is just insane. These people need to be in straightjackets, not in Congress.

FTA: Cortez and Markey claim that 92 percent of Democrats and 64 percent of Republicans support the Green New Deal. I’m not sure where that number is derived. But ask them again when government agents come to take out their water heater.
