I know and then there are feminists now attending scout meetings pushing for gender neutrality.

There is an excellent online essay by a retired school teacher who is an Eagle Scout. He would not recommend the BSA today, so sad. And he was very sad too when writing how it shaped so many fine upstanding men and now will churn out confused persons.

Wish I could find it. He wrote a very compelling case of how the merger of girls into the BSA was doomed because of sexual nature. It will cause so many problems. After reading it I was convinced it will never work. The move to gender neutrality seems like an attack on young men bonding and forming leadership traits.

I think it depends on how they handle the girls and boys. Scouting is co-ed in a number of countries and they may have quite a bit of experience in handling the issues.
