You make some good points. McConnell sometimes allows crazy-making foot dragging... but he has also been capable of surprising us! As always, it is our job to learn patience and watch the events unfold.
That whole RBG vote is horrendous. As Zacko Da Fracko says, “we have an illegitimate Supreme Court going on now if law clerks are VOTING on cases.”

In a fight, to "sell out" is to go all-out on the attack, paying no further heed to defensive measures.
It is a sign of desperation. Against a competent adversary the tactic usually ends up in swift defeat.
Many RAT actions lately appear to fit this description of "selling out."
