Republicans were clutching their pearls on Monday night after President Trumps youngest daughter, Tiffany, showed up to the State of the Union address in a fitted white dress with many considering it a show of solidarity with female Democrats and women from the suffrage movement.
The move was mostly done by female lawmakers on the left, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, but women from both sides of the aisle had been asked to participate.
Tiffany was the only female member of the Trump family who wear white.
Welcome to the resistance, joked one Twitter user...

Divorce is never to be celebrated.
Having been through one, I know.
Tiffany is an idiot, sort of a lefty, not a "real" Trump ( she wasn't raised by him at all ) and her shoes are what they're calling "nude" now.
Neither of those dresses are becoming ( both are waaaaaaaaaay too tight! )and they stuck out like sore thumbs.
Big time!
I sometimes wonder if Tiffany(the forgotten Trump...)is treated as an outsider by the rest of the kids.
Maybe she didn’t know about the wearing white deal and nobody was kind enough to give her a heads up.
Maybe she just decided to wear white because she’s looks good in it.
The person who said sometimes a dress is just a dress probably has it right.
The rich have options
I have to assume Kimberly and Tiffany wore white just because they wanted to, not because they wanted to show solidarity with the radical democRAT Ghost Women...
....at least they were dresses...compared to some of the white tarps on display.
Who gives a ####, they’re hot!
Sounds like a snowflake comment.
Guilfoyle, too?
Then again:
Trump said, in a line absent from his prepared remarks, that he wanted legal immigration in the largest numbers ever. Never mind that last year he endorsed large cuts to legal immigration, and rejected a Democratic offer of funding for a wall in part because it did not include those cuts . . .
Bla-bla-bla, mean girl queen bee wanna be crap as usual, they are only kibitzing because she looked smoking hot and they are not. End of story....
Trump did not say last year that he endorsed large cuts to legal immigration, he wanted to end chain migration, where a legal resident alien can petition to bring in his brothers, sisters, parents, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Trump prefers merit-based immigration, as is practiced in most other first world countries around the world.
Actually not just merit based. He’s been talking about more ag permits too. But the net effect of his position last year was a big cut in legal immigration:
What we really need is a moratorium on all immigration for a good decade—while we expel the 30 million-plus currently here illegally.
Jared and Ivanka are lefties too.
Most of those breathless, panic-struck headlines are from hard left websites such as afsc.org, politicfact.org, migrationpolicy.org, latimes.com, etc.
Every story is about tightening rules regarding a potential immigrant's chances of becoming a "public charge." I chose a story from American Progress, and here is the conclusion paragraph:
Trumps proposed change to the LPC rule is more radical and far-reaching in scope than commonly reported. The revised LPC test will directly apply to roughly 900,000 potential immigrants and another 176 million potential nonimmigrants each year. Furthermore, the Trump administration has made no attempt to estimate how many people will fail the test each year. It is not unreasonable to think that somewhere between 17 and 61 percent of otherwise eligible immigrants seeking green cards could fail the proposed test. The proposed rules effect on potential nonimmigrants is less clear, but because so many people are admitted as nonimmigrants each year, even a small increase in the percentage of those denied visas and admission on public charge grounds could end up being very large. Whats more, relatively few of these denials will be based on the past or current receipt of benefits; instead, most of the LPC predictions will be based on people having working-class incomes or disabilities. The Trump administrations proposal is an ill-conceived attempt to unilaterally restrict legal immigration, and it should be withdrawn before irreversible harm is done. If the public charge rule is not withdrawn, Congress should pass legislation blocking the use of federal funds to implement the proposal.
What hand-wringing drivel.
Ag permits are not merit based.
The jobs exist because the employers have been allowed to undercut our local labor market. Because they have filled them will illegals and other low-skill Latin imports for so long, they have been able to make them disgustingly unappealing.
The US ag market needs to invest in capital like the rest of our country has and to make their jobs decent, like the rest of the country has had to do.
Nothing merit based about those workers at all.
Oh, and those workers do end up staying. Overstaying and staying. And drawing in their low-skill relatives too.
Plus, even while they are supposedly paid by their employers, their pay is so low that the US taxpayer is subsidizing just about everything about them.
Maybe she just liked the dress.
Sometimes a white dress is just a white dress.
Not true anymore
Tiffany can wear anything she wants. Or nothing at all.
Oh, I don't think they're all that bad, and the parts that stuck out are more like hitch-hiking thumbs.
