1986

From 1989, Boston:

“City officials have questioned the assertions of 11 firefighters that they are members of minority groups and thus are qualified for preferential treatment in hiring and promotions, according to a city report released Tuesday night.”

“The review was spurred by the dismissal last fall of Paul J. and Philip J. Malone, 33-year-old twins who worked as city firemen for 10 years after being hired as blacks. Fire Commissioner Leo D. Stapleton reported the two men to the state when they applied for promotions as minority candidates last winter. After an investigation, the state ruled that the Malones were whites who had falsely claimed to have black ancestry.”

I remember this story very well. I actually knew one of the ‘guilty Parties’ and he was absolutely guilty. Though I knew him well for a time, I cannot say that I admired him. I did not even like him very much.

Still, I had no problem with it at all because the affirmative action initiatives are in fact discrimination and ought properly be countered when possible.

Of course I despise Warren and she is a genuine slime without anything remotely resembling honor or character, yet she wants to be President even as virtually everyone knows that she is a fraud in more ways than one.

According to the Times (and Boston papers back in the day) It is not OK to to subvert the unjust discrimination for blue collar jobs, but it is perfectly fine to do so and seek high office if you support the proper agendas.
