and the half time show was the worst that I can remember.

Someone at the Super Bowl party said the halftime show would have been improved by Karie Perry's "left shark" - the one with no rhthym.

“Up With People!” would have been an improvement.

Superbowl VII would still hold the record if not for the Garo Ypremium pass.

People are sick of New England
The Rams didn’t deserve to be in the game.
The game was boring.

Nuff said.

I liked the Audi commercial too. But it’s getting killed after the fact. It’s going to be a great car. Leave it to Audi to design an electric car that looks good. They make great cars. Perfect to lease because just like German WWII tanks, they are expensive to repair/maintain when they break.

Rigged. I said to my wife that there will be at least three bogus calls to help Boston.

1. The made up penalty early on where the Rams tackled the running back for a loss after catching a short toss from the quarterback. The refs said the Rams tackler did not allow for the pass receiver a chance to make a football move because he was tackled right as he caught the ball. It resulted in an automatic first down, helped the patriots drive to continue.

2. Fourth quarter, Rams fourth down with the play clock running and the referee standing on the ball preventing the play from starting, then releasing when there were only 4 seconds left as the Rams shifted from punt formation to run a play to try and get the first down. They could not get the play off, resulting in delay of game that took them back 5 yards and eliminated the fake punt.

3. The bogus holding call you mentioned.

3. The pass interference non-call you mentioned.

Rigged, I tell you. Rigged.

It’s amazing how little difference there is between the all-time #1 Superbowl (49.0) and this worst-in-ten-years Superbowl (44.9).

---------------

That represents a loss of 4.74 million viewers (myself included). Pretty bad considering the highest rated games were in recent years (2015 & 2016) and the U.S. population is higher every year.

Had the Pats played the Saints, New Orleans would be hosting a parade this week instead of Boston.

Had the Pats played the Saints, NO would be hosting....

We'll never know that. NO/Pats don't play each other next season. One thing's pretty sure. Tom Brady would've had to wake up during the first half if he'd been playing the Saints.

There is a message the NFL will never learn from this. All the pandering they've done to appease black racists and their apologists, including entertainment personalities, didn't have them replacing the fans who are disgusted. LA went to the SuperBowl and LA didn't care.
