Don’t stop at letters. Sue and collect.
The press will find a friendly judge (Obama appointee) who will throw the cases out on some technical grounds.
Our legal system is as corrupted as everything else, and contrary to Atticus Finch’s assertion in TOKAM, the ground in a courtroom is not level.
Letters are just the first step.
Sue and publicize. And then collect. The MAGA kids have a lot of support, but they also have a lot of detractors who will continue defaming them for the rest of their lives.
That’s right. Don’t offer a settlement. Screw ‘em all.
They are a notice and demand for resolution of the issue or it will be taken to court via a lawsuit. Sometimes the wronged party will get the offending party to settle before having to incure court costs of lawsuits and attorney's fees.
I seem to recall, at least in some sates, that it is illegal threaten a lawsuit in writing without going through with it but I could be wrong on that.
Expect these attorneys to follow through and slap these people with lawsuits and head to court, if the targets choose not to settle or resolve the issue beforehand.
