Pay or not, this will sober them up.
That’s right. Don’t offer a settlement. Screw ‘em all.
Hard to farm with 50-50 accuracy on their forecasts.

Maybe you can clear something up for me....
The ‘old wives tale’ about if it is going to rain the cows will lay down OR stand up -not sure which...
Question
If there are 50 cows in a field and 25 are laying down and 25 standing, what is the meaning?
Many parties on that list are not shielded (to a degree) by any press exceptions. Also, courts, liberal or conservative, take a very dim view of private youths having their lives endangered by the powerful and wealthy.
Hope the entire school body "with good grades" get a scholarship to the college of their choice.
IMHO, most of them will settle as their legal fee’s will be to prohibitive to take it to trial.
Once had a lawyer buddy of mine tell me a bad settlement is always better than a good law suit. One never can tell what a panel of 9-12 jurors will decide.
I hope everyone on that list has to PAY DEARLY!!!
Richard Jewell v. Piedmont College
Jewell filed suit against his former employer Piedmont College, Piedmont College President Raymond Cleere and college spokesman Scott Rawles....Cleere of describing Jewell as a "badge-wearing zealot" who "would write epic police reports for minor infractions." Piedmont College settled for an undisclosed amount.Richard Jewell v. NBC
Jewell sued NBC News for this statement, made by Tom Brokaw: "The speculation is that the FBI is close to making the case. They probably have enough to arrest him right now, probably enough to prosecute him"...Even though NBC stood by its story, the network agreed to pay Jewell $500,000.Richard Jewell v. New York Post
On July 23, 1997, Jewell sued The New York Post for $15 million in damages...eventually settled with the newspaper for an undisclosed amount.CNN
CNN settled with Jewell for an undisclosed monetary amount...
Would particularly like to see Sharpton hit with a suit...and the AJC in memory of Jewell.
(Pathetic, isn't it)
The following is a list of leftist people indicted in the past few years:
1. Sheldon Silver (D), Ex-New York Assembly Speaker
2. Anthony Weiner (D), pervert & husband of Humma Weiner
3. ????
Can’t the lawyer go after their wages? I mean if and when they lose.
Keep those cards and letters coming folks!
If television people could be sued for being wrong, there would be no weather reports.
**********
What if they reported clear weather for a particular area when they knew a hurricane was approaching?
I hope this kid gets so rich from this that he doesn’t even have to worry about university. Just go right into business and avoid the indoctrination.
Rosie The Pig must’ve oinked something out.
The only thing that would be better is if the letters were written on four inch wide 2-ply paper. Previously used paper.
Not just a “dim view”, but they apply a different legal standard - negligence instead of actual malice. That’s why the lawyers are so aggressive, they know they can win.
Yes, despite FReepers who are neither lawyers nor play them on TV.
“Theyll be writing the checks tomorrow I reckon,...”
Doubt it. They’ll be laughing their asses off, and doubling down on the attacks. I don’t care how excellent of an attorney Lin Wood is, I don’t have faith that these evildoers EVER will have regrets, or EVER will pay up.
A better analogy than “Chicken Little” is Julius Streicher:
