That list is clearly a millenial’s idea of what 70’s slang was. A lot of the really good 70’s slang was counter-culture slang and it shows how out-of-touch the article is that it’s full of stock photos of dorky white folks partying.

Coincidentally, I've been trying to explain the seventies to two of my sons the last couple of days.

I told them that ethnic humor was big in the seventies. There were jokes about every ethnic group.

But we all were proud of whatever we were. We wore it on shirts and hats. For example, t-shirts with "Kiss me, I'm ----" (whatever ethnicity).

It all sounds so strange to young people today.

I expected to see the term “narc” as in the phrase “don’t narc me out”. Rough equivalent of tattletale and short cor narcotics officer. Used for anything, not just drug use.
