That list is clearly a millenials idea of what 70s slang was. A lot of the really good 70s slang was counter-culture slang and it shows how out-of-touch the article is that its full of stock photos of dorky white folks partying.

Did anyone actually use these aside from TV characters?
To: BradyLS
Yeah, that list probably wasn’t written by someone who was alive in the seventies. lol

Not bragging, God sent protection during those years. I was crazy. Quite a bit better off today. I know what you mean. I found my own way out of that trap at eighteen and never looked back.

in the seventies (and earlier) it was really all for laughsCoincidentally, I've been trying to explain the seventies to two of my sons the last couple of days.
I told them that ethnic humor was big in the seventies. There were jokes about every ethnic group.
But we all were proud of whatever we were. We wore it on shirts and hats. For example, t-shirts with "Kiss me, I'm ----" (whatever ethnicity).
It all sounds so strange to young people today.

I’m a little younger than you and I’ve never heard any of those, either.

Yep. We all thought the race wars were finally over. Little did we know that race pimps would stir it all up again, and even elevate it to levels we never dreamed of.
It's literally surreal to have witnessed it happen, and be sitting here today, seeing the country ripped apart by the non-existent boogeyman of 'racism'.

I don’t like him either but absolutely hated Billy Joel.

The standards were different for “race records” that white people weren’t supposed to listen to.

Yes, it is sad. The Left continues to pit people against each other.
Feeling sorry for the younger generation.

I expected to see the term narc as in the phrase dont narc me out. Rough equivalent of tattletale and short cor narcotics officer. Used for anything, not just drug use.
