Growing up the cookstove ran 24/7 in the cold weather of winter. We threw (as kids) sugar on the top to make air freshner (Mother wasn’t happy). Sliced potatoes paper thin and fried them on top for potato chips, made smores. The best cookies came from the oven when the temp gauge registered warm. Many great memories including making butter from the fresh milk, home made chocolate pudding from the milk with the crust on top when cooling. I’m sure I’m talking another language to many.

Someone once tried to make a go at packaging and selling pudding skin. Didn’t work.

I love pudding skin.
