This is just a personal observation. Over a period of 30 years, my neighborhood became mostly hispanic. One of the neighbors who moved away remarked, “The first thing that they do when they move in is put up a wall.” That is exactly what happened in my cul de sac among the new neighbors who were homeowners. Seems like demarcation of boundaries was very important to them. It’s rather comical in view of our present situation.
