Thanks.

I am asking a legitimate question. (Have been for awhile without much success in getting a satisfactory answer)
Usually the youngers have hard bark about the boomers.
Which seems to me, boils down to “we ate it all”.
I am sure I was part of some of the problems & solutions.

I just wonder when i started to have been part of it and what i did or didn’t did ?

I really think the boomers are spread too wide generationally - 1946-61 to 65-ish ...they get blamed for things they couldn’t possibly have been involved with.
15 years ? Pres. GHWB & Pres. Clinton had come and gone in that time span.

Medicare ? nope
Vietnam ? nope

you get the drift...

June 23rd, 1973.

You came inside from the yard, left the front door open, and stood at the fridge too long while looking for something to drink.

All the cold got out, just like your dad said it would.

That's my theory anyway.

Arrgh! What I'm saying is drawing generational lines is divisive and therefore counter-productive.
If you pin me down, I would argue the Boomers brought us drugs, avarice, 'me first', and worst of all, minivans.

Then I'll say that the Millenials brought us ear gauges and embrace socialism without knowing what it is.

And the Gen-Xers ruined lawn darts for everyone but made the Internet scream.

Boomers' parents? They had really great fashion sense, and screwed up Europe and other places for a loong time (Warsaw Pact).

Their parents? What the heck was up with prohibition and separate drinking fountains for black and white?

Their parents?...you get the point.

No One is responsible for generational generalizations.

Circling back to my initial list of "drugs, avarice, me-first, and minivans..."
Drugs? Herodotus recorded the Scythians toking on mary jane since before the Greek times.
Avarice? What generation hasn't any examples of that?
Me-First? I'll draw a line back to when Cain killed Abel.
Minivans? Okay, that's just something the boomers will have to own up to!

I hope you take all this tongue in cheek as intended. Kek!
