I would bet that most of these outlets are funded ultimately by us taxpayers. The government takes our money, then passes it along to various corrupt people/businesses/foundations who pass it along to organizations like HuffPo and Buzzfeed.

With luck, the employees left will at least do some sort of fact-checking before putting out obviously inaccurate articles.
