Above my paygrade. I don’t know what the heck is really going on here. I’m thinking that the Shutdown is needed. Not sure why.
Ive forgotten how it is that Graham became the Go To guy for running interference for the POTUS in the Senate???
He is so quasi powerful that he gets to fall off the wagon every other whip stitch and jack with Trump, or insult some item from his agenda.
I wonder if McConnell is pleased with Grahams exalted position, so that he doesnt have to be seen dealing directly with Trump.
What is going on?
but the veto can then be over ridden so there is still some check on POTUS power as it should be - but takes more than a simple majority who disagree
maybe this date 1/29 see above is what DJT is waiting on -
not only Barr but the 44 judges including the 9th circuit
he’s head of the Judiciary Committee - ??
they’re calling him “gRahamBO”..
Isn’t GRAHAM the CHAIRMAN of the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE?

Here’s @LeeSmithDC making an excellent point: Given all the relentless Iran/Mullah boosting he did during his 8 years in office, if the FBI used the same standard it has on Trump, then Obama needed investigating as an Iranian agent:
https://www.wsj.com/articles/what-if-the-fbi-had-probed-obama-11548287966?mod=e2tw
As you know if you followed me for some time, I have a working theory that Obama & other top people in his admin. were compromised in his first term after they took massive bribes from the Russians & the Iranians to set up the Uranium One deal.
In Obama’s 2nd term, the bill came due for all the bribes taken in the first term.
If you thought Obama/Hillary/Kerry & Co. seemed to be actually working hard on behalf of the Mullah/Putin regimes & not US/Western interests that wasn’t your imagination.
Because the Russians & the Iranians literally had Obama & his top people firmly by the balls, they had to follow *whatever orders they were given* to keep from being exposed.
When I say since Trump & Sessions took over the DOJ/FBI/CIA/DIA, etc. in Feb. 2017 that massive investigations have been going on that have MASSIVE NATIONAL SECURITY ISSUES involved so that the operational security of those investigations are *beyond airtight* I am not kidding.
A lot of people think SpyGate is just the FBI/DOJ letting Clinton walk & then trying to throw the election to her while sabotaging Trump’s campaign.
Oh no.
Way too small.
Think BIGGER.
Far, FAR BIGGER.
People who knew what actually happened, about U1, the blackmail, the treason, the taking of orders to ship billions to Iran, etc. and covered it up could NEVER allow a real investigation of Hillary’s email server & what was on it.
Or Weiner’s laptop.
That *could not happen*.
And so it DID not happen.
But in making sure it didn’t happen, the same players doing all the covering up decided to get themselves an insurance policy to make absolutely sure Hillary won the election & if Trump somehow won, quickly neutralizing him.
But many of these people were incompetent clowns, so they got caught doing this and they got exposed.
And serious professional investigators have spent 2 years now working their way backwards through how/why all this happened.
Heres what people dont grasp: this SpyGate stuff is intertwined with the Uranium One stuff. Which is intertwined with the Iran Deal stuff. Which is intertwined with the Project Cassandra stuff. Which is intertwined with the Imran Awan House spying stuff.
Once you pull the lid off Pandoras Box and go public with the investigations &the evidence on SpyGate, its going to directly lead to all this OTHER stuff being investigated.
You cant just isolate ONE thing because its ALL connected.
This is why key witnesses and evidence from these nat. sec. investigations have to be withheld from the partisan leakers of Congress.
The moment its given to Congress, itll be politicized. People will start leaking the evidence to partisan media.
The investigators cannot risk investigations of the highest sensitivity being compromised by placing it early into the hands of Democrats in Congress and watching 2 years of absolutely crucial national security investigation get destroyed.
I'll kick in a couple boxes of Official US Navy TS Cards.
(TS = Tough Situation/Sh**)
Buying time. Trump is buying time.
Imho, I think Pelosi wants to see Trump declare an Emergency EO for the Wall, and the sooner the better, so they can possibly tie him up in Court over it and use it perhaps to set him up for an impeachment in the House of Representatives, and Trump needs a lock on the Supreme Court before the coming s^!+ Storm, with one more sure pick.
RBG needs to retire. This to me explains why hes been dragging this out.
And, the gravy is of course, that he lets the communists expose themselves, in broad daylight. hee.
“Maybe theres a way we could donate something, like canned goods maybe”
I found an old hair net in the street I can donate.
Oh, and my old manual typewriter, so they can do some creative writing for their ‘resumes’.
Because you know, like, they haven’t had a computer in 10 years, like since they got their phones, you know?
True. But not liaison for the White House. Ive never seen anything quite like it. McConnell is the Majority Leader.

If Coast Guard members are killed during shutdown, their families won't get benefits
EXCERPT...
While members of the Coast Guard continue to risk their lives on deployment during the government shutdown, the service says it will not be able to provide death benefits to their families should they be killed in the line of duty. Retirees and their families will also be affected due to a lack of funding as long as the shutdown drags on.
Families of US Coast Guard members killed in active service will not receive a one-time death benefit payment, as long as the partial government shutdown continues, according to Lt. Cmdr. Scott McBride, a spokesperson for the service. Nor will retirees, McBride added, along with the next of kin of retirees who were paying into an insurance plan.
McBride told CNN that while retirees and their next of kin are due to receive their benefits on February 1, they will not if the shutdown drags on.

That’s interesting
Yep - witness stated he smelled lighter fluid and one of the other people acted odd. I’’m surprised it made it to print to be honest.

Good post. Those who followed George Webb, got to connect many of these dots last year. I bet we don’t really see much daylight on this till mid year.

And it’s not just that—it would be giving the evidence to the guilty parties. No way Jose.
