Thanks for providing that. It's a better explanation than a UFO crash. It's not the first time a mountain has had a hillside collapse. Although this hill was rather large.

What I am curious about is why did Putin want to make a personal visit (if this was a natural occurrence)? What is in the ‘valley’ that this stuff collapsed in to? Is his a humanitarian concern, a military concern, or something else?
I had to look that one up.
