Woman who posted about Trump slams door on Secret Service agent January 14, 2019 After reportedly posting online about hoping someone would shoot President Trump between the eyes, a woman in Texas was shocked to see a Secret Service agent at her door only a few hours later. According to her, he attempted to intimidate her and enter her home but stopped when her nephew started recording. After stating that she wanted a lawyer, the woman got the agent’s phone number and then slammed the door shut without waiting for him to leave.

It’s all a matter of degree, Ann. I’ve seen posts on conservative websites of Obama - when he was president - being led to the gallows. Was that threatening the president? Enough for an arrest?
I don’t know. And I don’t know exactly what that woman said. The article just mentioned something about shooting Trump.
It’s the job of the authorities to get a search warrant, or an arrest warrant, in cases like these. If they can’t - or won’t - do that, then they’ve got to walk away.
Side note: I don’t understand why the Secret Service is so hesitant to get that warrant. Take the case of Kathy Griffin. She’s the woman who held that severed and bloody Trump head. Why didn’t the Secret service get a warrant, and then arrest her???
Really??? All the articles I've read on this site say that the Secret Service loves Trump and had nothing but disdain for Obama and the Clintons.......Go figure, they were all lies. Who woulda thought........

I’m a firm believer in the niceties of the law. Except in dealing with the enemy during wartime, when losing the war means all the niceties go away, too.
The wonderful fallout of any “win” by her would be horrible for the left. There is no doubt many who had distaste for the puny Kenyan would have loved to have been more frank. But we worried of the secret service knock. This woman may remove that risk for current house members like Antifa-Cortez or perhaps a future pres harris.

She did what any of us should do. If one of Obama’s people had shown up at my door, I’d have done the same. The balance of power can flip every few years, and it could be bad guys coming after us instead of good guys going after the commies.

I’ve gotta tell you. I’ve watched the video a couple of times. And you’re correct. Maybe she could have been a bit more polite. And she should have omitted the profanity. Other than that, she handled herself well. She said all the things a citizen of a free country is supposed to say.

Based on what she actually said, it wasn’t specific enough of a statement to warrant arrest, believe it or not. It was too easy to be framed as rhetoric.
If, however, you say something like “I’m going to [verb] [proper noun].”, you might just get in some trouble, regardless of who you’re talking about.

Yes the threat is enough for a warrant... the fact she did I talk to them, took it from being cleared up without one, to I would say far better likelihood of one.0
The fascist is the super-patriot advocating police ignore the constitution, use violence, threats and intimidation against individuals not charged with a crime and think that ignoring the rule of law will only affect those they hate.
I didn’t watch the video, but just reading the story scared me. If Trump’s SS is behaving this way, it’s bad for PR. Thuggery is the Rat way.
