At this rate, those that didnt work will be let go. Those that did will be furlough for another 30 days.
See post 1121. Those who were deemed “non-essential” will not be automatically released at the end of 30 days. This furlough was due to a lapse in funding. If there is an administrative furlough that lasts more than 30 days then they can consider a Reduction In Workforce. They can’t just start laying people off.
It will be interesting to see what happens. Only a couple of days to go!
