HIPPA comes in there somewhere. It’s supposed to protect privacy. So I wonder where the supposed information is coming, or is it conjecture?”

The post:

“So....watched a couple of videos about RBG and her health
One was before they announced this bout with cancer. They said quoting a small CA newspaper that she would be stepping down in January. That’s the second time I’ve heard that

The second was a retired nurse who had worked the cancer floor. She said the type of cancer in her lung came from the blood carrying the cancer and spreading it from another source. (4 months at the most). NO treatment = NO hope of recovery. Her opinion was she was planning on dying at home instead of hospital or care center.”

“HIPPA was designed for portability of insurance, with the privacy bit thrown in; now it’s all about privacy stuff, so much so that health care professionals can’t even look at their own files —they must go thru the ‘approved’ patient portal.”

That was my suspicion too. My sister had lung cancer. Generally they would give Chemo after operation. Either no hope or she’s too weak came to mind.
