I was in high school when Elvis came along. I detested him and so did all my friends.
Blake? Could be anyone. Should I care?
The worst clunker of his career, by far.
One of many bad moves, made of Elvis’s behalf by “Colonel Parker.” As most know, concert promoters offered a fortune for an Elvis tour in Europe, at various stages in his career. Ditto for Asia. All were rejected by Parker, who feared his status as an illegal alien would be revealed when he had to apply for a passport, and Parker wasn’t about to let Elvis go off on a foreign tour by himself.
