It appears that Jeff Sessions chose to ignore it. Although I suppose there is some outside chance that there is some investigation going on in the background somewhere. It seems unlikely. 8 months is a long time.

And the letter of Dec 28 by Gowdy and Goodlatte, as the chairmen of two Congressional committees they formally requested a Special Counsel be appointed. This as their second time requesting this.

What seems significant about this is that they sent it to the current acting A.G. Whitaker, so now he has the opportunity to say that he's appointing a Special Counsel at the recent request of the Congress. Depending on how quickly Barr can be confirmed, he may defer to Barr, but it still seems to keep the matter in play.

Along with many millions of other Trump supporters I think appointment of a Special Counsel (or several) is critical.

Of course, if the Day of Unsealing event happens then that will mean it was unnecessary. I'll owe you a mea culpa.

Conversely if we are still sitting here in Jan 2019 with all the Deep State miscreants still free as birds it will clearly have been a puzzling missed opportunity.

One way or the other a price must be paid by the Deep State Coup team.

If the blatant attempt to harnass the CIA, FBI, NSA and White House National Security apparatus to throw and overturn the election isn't punished it will happen again. It will have been normalized. That would be a travesty.
