So can anyone document incidences where any judge has been able to decide argued cases, without sitting in a courtroom, while testimony and arguments have been given?
Can anyone cite where any previous SCJ has been able to decide argued cases on the basis of transcripts of testimony?
Do we have any instances, other than the latest vote by Ginsberg, where a SCJ was able to vote on a case from their hospital room?
***Chief Justice John Roberts announced that Justice Ginsberg would be deciding the argued cases on the basis of the briefs and transcripts of oral arguments.***
So can “regular” judges make their decisions from home just reading some notes?
This is so WRONG.
