Hi NIKK....
Going slowly but surely. It was 10 BELOW zero....Fahrenheit! That’s a little cold for me lol. I bought these new boots and on the heel they have this neat little gizmo that I can flip and it gives me little ice picks on my heels for walking on snow and ice. Cool. I just have to remember to NOT wear them on my hardwood floors lol.

That sounds so handy!!! I have some jet trax, but they are a pain to take on and off.

When I was researching shoes/boots with cleats, for hoosiermama :) , I came across a couple of pairs that are only available in Canada.
I can’t remember the brand names, but I thought of you...and here you are mentioning boots with ice picks...lol.
Those sound like James Bond boots :)

I have never heard of the little gizmos on the heels. That would really help on ice. To even think there would be something as that surprises me. ...10..below really shakes my mind. So glad to hear you're doing better. It seems patience is something we all need to live with especially nowadays...LOL
