IMHO Chuck and Nancy look a little bit desperate to pin the shutdown on Donald and they don’t act like people who are winning the argument. Remember Congress has an approval rating of around 10% and the longer this goes the more the 62 million Americans who voted for the wall will blame them for it. Don’t blink Mr President you have the upper hand here. It’s only 5 billion you’re asking for.

I thought so too. They were making sure to say words about “reopen the government”. I doubt many are buying their snake oil. However, Feb. 1 when the EBT cards don’t work-that’s going to be interesting, if it doesn’t get settled by then.
Agree. What do we spend for Afghanistan per year? $10 billion? $20 billion? $5 billion for the wall now will pay for itself in reduced future spending on illegals.
Afghanistan is an expense. The wall is an investment.
