Ignore prepper histrionics.
**********************************************************************

A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it. NIV Proverbs 22:3

Benjamin Franklin (an early Prepper):

“God gives all things to industry.

There are no gains without pains.

Diligence is the mother of good luck.

God helps them that help themselves.

He that lives upon hopes will die fasting.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Industry pays debts, while despair increaseth them.

We may make these times better, if we bestir ourselves.

Plough deep while sluggards sleep, and you shall have corn to sell and to keep.

If we are industrious, we shall never starve; for at the working man’s house hunger looks in, but dares not enter.”

MANY AREAS IN THE USA SUFFER NATURAL DISASTERS. People frequently find out too late the value of a little prepping.

Preparing for potential problems is not histrionics. I live on the New Madrid Fault line, and in an area called tornado alley. To be unprepared for these issues would be irresponsible to my family. Besides, it’s cheaper to stock up on food when it’s on sale.

The question should be, why would an OFFICIAL who has access to all sorts of info we don’t post such stuff? Is this his real account? Did someone hack his account? Inquiring minds should want to know.

Totally agree with you. No one should feel they need tons (literally) of food. BUT, extra food, prepper food, candles, flash lights, water, first aid, batteries, warm clothes, and ammo. Everyone should have some! Blizzards, tornadoes, ice storms etc. Never hurts to be prepared to be self-suffient for a time.
