Presser is over.
He did not answer questions, had only brief comments. He introduced some of the border security people he was meeting with. He had said something in the meeting with them like, “well let’s just go downstairs and talk to the press.”
Sarah introduced him, he said he has gotten incredible support for the shut down. He introduced the border guys and let a few of them make the case for the Wall.
Then they left. No questions.
As he was leaving, a female reporter demanded he answer questions, and when told he wouldn’t answer any by Sarah, she complained, “well this is a briefing room - you should answer questions!”
The reporters were all so obviously peeved. LOL. It was wonderful.
