Being intentionally corrupt and evil is the very definition of stupid. People know that obeying the 10 Commandments and being honest and trying to do good is the best way to live.
When they fail to do that, they are being stupid. Stupid, corrupt, and evil are not mutually exclusive.
Gotcha...understood...thank you. I think it could be argued that it is not so stupid because they have been getting away with it for decades, often overtly, and maybe, only now because of POTUS, will judgment come to bear.
