The Senate stands adjourned until Monday, December 31st at 10:00am for pro forma session. The Senate will then reconvene on Wednesday, January 2nd at 4:00pm.

In other words, if there is no resolution and none is on the horizon, nothing gets done until there is a new House controlled by Dems, meaning more delays.
McConnell evidently has no intention of moving the ball forward.

Can you suggest a means of McConnell securing 10 Democrat votes?
Pro forma sessions are called just so that President Trump cannot make any recess appointments during an adjournment. It’s hard to believe that the Senate majority is of the same party as the President. I do not recall these pro firma sessions being called in a similar situation during previous administrations democratic or republican.
