Someone should start a campaign to name the wall bill, the Singh Wall Bill. How could demonrats justify not funding it?
Oh, my. The Weather Channel just said the key to going to volcanoes is not when they’re active. Who knew??
Blah, that didn’t work. Oh, well, seeing the fudge recipe was already discussed. The ORIGINAL Fantasy Fudge is the best, imo.
Could it be like this recipe

This picture has the look of my dad’s fudge, with that kind of crackly top. Used real peanut butter, I don’t see the point of using chips since they aren’t quite as peanut buttery, unless they Harden better and give you that crumbly texture. Somehow he managed to do that and I even think he used marshmallow cream. But I know that’s cheating :-) but I think I remember him having some on the counter. It could have been when he was just learning though. I really should have paid attention!
I only made eggnog fudge because I can only find eggnog seasonally. And I wanted to keep some of the eggnog flavor around. I froze the fudge and I can sneak a piece every now and then throughout the year now :-) the second batch was way too creamy so I tossed it. I hate wasting those ingredients but there’s no point having empty calories that aren’t even as I want them.
How is your shoulder doing with all that work? It does sound like a tiring way to start the morning. It’s hard to catch up energy-wise after expending at all. I’m glad you’re getting a chance to relax now.

Well there goes my plan of going when lava is pouring down the side. Thank goodness they reported it and you relayed. I could have been in trouble!
Would I add 2 cups of peanut butter if I wanted to substitute for peanut butter fudge? I don’t really want to use the chips, they don’t taste quite the same.
Sounds a lot like my dad probably did. I know he didn’t use a candy thermometer. I used one and got it to 235 degrees, which did take about 5 minutes so that sounds right.
I did the parchment paper thing and that was a great idea! Made removal so easy.
Yeah I would like to learn how to do it without using the marshmallow. I think it shouldn’t be necessary :-) and it would probably make the fudge creamier than I like, maybe that’s why my eggnog fudge didn’t turn out right.
Thanks for posting.
Oh great, I will copy that one and use it the next time I feel like giving my arms a work out :-) I’m just glad I can even consider doing it now.
LOL, one of the reviews was giving directions on how to make it more creamy! I’m definitely not following that path. I guess not everybody likes it crumbly :-) my dad may have overcooked it or something, but crumbly fudge brings back nice memories. And I actually do like the way it tastes better.
Rediculous. Redicule at every opportunity !
Change two things and haven’t had problems since. Make chocolate fudges in microwave with Garidelli chocolate and a candy thermometer for peanut butter fudge , caramels and divinity.
I’m glad you can do so much more CottonBall. A

How are you doing? Last I saw it seems you are starting to get better.
I love that movie! And it has a lot of wisdom in it. I do need to work better at practicing moderation. Especially now
I am in heaven! I have a couple of overripe bananas but don’t feel like making banana bread. I threw one in a blender with some cream of coconut and crushed ice. Yum yum yum! If I was a drinker I would add some rum and have a banana daiquiri. But it’s pretty yummy as it is.
