Thanks Texokie! The practice is essential.
[LOL! Absolutely! ]
Dont want to have too many bad notes. When you play lots of songs, there are so many key changes.
[Those black keys CAN be problematic, can’t they?]
Last year I didnt bring music or glasses and many were disappointed.
[OH NO!]
Maybe next year we will have Christmas here.
[We’ll think good thoughts for that to happen!]
My piano is awesome. Moms is the one I learned on and I thought it was nice. Until I played a Steinway. Couldnt afford one but found a wonderful quality circa 1919 baby grand 5 years ago that was meant to be mine. Little known name these days, a Schomacher. It turns 100 years old soon, looks new. Black satin finish and came with tufted leather duet bench thats really comfy.
[Oh how marvelous! Those 100 year old pianos are AMAZING!]
Merry Christmas and a Trumpy New Year!
Blessings and Merry to you too, FRiend!

2 black keys are OK but more is not good. Zero is great. One, no problem.
Been trying to learn Moonlight Sonata which as you know uses many of the dreaded black keys.
I used to be able to play the first 2 pages. But after not playing it for a year I have to learn it all again. And the stretching on that song is huge! Ow.
