"...a narrow beam of particles shoots out of the black hole at almost the speed of light." We've been told that black holes are objects so dense and heavy, that nothing - not even light itself - can escape the pull of their gravity.
If that's the case, then how do these so-called 'relativistic jets' escape their grasp?
I don't think cosmologists have yet figured out what those objects are.

I’m pretty sure the jet activity takes place outside the event horizon of the black hole, a region where stuff can still get away if moving fast enough. Will check 4 better explanationlater today.

Im pretty sure the jet activity takes place outside the event horizon of the black hole, a region where stuff can still get away if moving fast enough. How does that even make sense? What force could a black hole possibly exert, that would push material away, if it's an infinite gravity well, as we've been told?
I'm sure some mathematical theorist will dream up some ad hoc explanation that plasters yet another band-aid on the failed standard model.
Modern cosmologists have abandoned classical physics and the scientific method.
