“Looks like we were right.”
But general pop would rather die than admit it.

It appears ANTI-TRUMP forces have overrun FREE REPUBLICS general thread.

Oh stars & stripes forever! That negativity is so sad to see! Thanks for bringing it to us, though.
I actually do believe that it isn't ALL just Anti-Trump folks there....What I see is more of those who are our beloved brother and sister Patriots suffering from the Lucy Yanking the Football syndrome. They are tired of trying. They are worn out. Understandable. It is easier to prepare to be on one's back again after a mighty kick. Or not to kick at all. They are being negative because they DO NOT WANT TO TRY TO KICK THE FOOTBALL ANYMORE! Furthermore, they KNOW it will be yanked away.
As one of our number, Oratam, has pointed out in post 2 of this thread, FReepers and U.S. Patriots have been under an intense campaign of demoralization.
It is easier to go negative so as to not get hopes up again - only to be dashed.
I think we should seek to foster within ourselves enough positivity and hope so as to lift our Fellow Freeps by simply understanding that somehow there really IS hope available. WE can be Charlie Brown, who despite everything DOES try again! We can be positive enough to hold the Vision. "Without Vision, the people perish." We don't have to even say anything directly to them. We just hold the Vision of the Victory which is being won. Thoughts and Vision matter.
We are the crazy people on this forum who actually KNOW that not only should we kick the ball again..... we CAN kick the ball, with every confidence that it will go sailing between those goal posts! We may not even actually BE the ones kicking the ball - but we can surely believe in our team which is.

ROFL!!! THAT IS AWESOME!!!!
This escalated quickly
French Police go on strike. Complain about be overworked and being owed backpay.
“The French government on Tuesday proposed giving 300-euro (£270) bonuses to officers deployed to the protests by the yellow vest movement that started in mid-November.
French President Emmanuel Macron committed to the idea of protest duty pay earlier this month.
However, police representatives, who opened talks on Tuesday with the Interior Ministry, want compensation for years of overtime duty never paid out. Talks were to continue Wednesday.
Interior Minister Christophe Castaner said the sum amounts to nearly 275 million euros (£248million), and includes decades of unpaid overtime, but suggested demands would eventually be met.
‘We don’t have a right to have a debt like that,’ the minister said Tuesday. Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire agreed, saying Wednesday on BFMTV that ‘it seems legitimate that they be paid.’
France’s national police have long complained about being overworked, under-appreciated and underpaid, and have tried to press their cause in the past to no avail.”

WOW, mairdie, that was great. Thanks for reminding us about all the good stuff.
The anti-Trumpers coming in to divide us and suppress our comments are a good measure of the pain and fear in the District of Criminals.
I delight in it. We are over the target, bomb bay doors open.

I needed it, too. This has been the best prescription against getting down that I’ve found.
