Read 56 on the same thread - believe it’s another example of trying to make campaign finance out of non-campaign finance stuff.

I hear that they are reporting on fox news that they have Trump personally committing a felony, using campaign funds to get the Enquirer to not run a story. The parent company of the N. E. has plead guilty and stipulates that they did this under orders from Trumps lawyer, and the lawyer also says it was an order by Trump. Judge Napolitano and the resident LGBTQ reporter on Fox reporting.
The above was from FOX 4 days ago. I believe we already sliced & diced this ?
does it make any difference that this "initiative" started in 2014 ?
does it make any difference that the funds were his own ?
does it make any difference that DOJ dropped these kinds of charges vs John Edwards after a hung jury and being acquitted on one charge ?

Napolitano is a never-Trumper and should exit with The Weekly Standard. I am not a legal type but it is hard to see how DJT cannot spend his own money any way he wishes... he financed his own campaign. Are the groceries he might have bought a campaign contribution?

If I remember correctly, the owner of the Enquirer is a friend of POTUS. I doubt he'd have to pay or use an attorney to get a story pulled. A phone call would do it.
