After I posted my question, I did a brief search that led me to a website that refers to a USSS agent near W and says, “Some think the agent may have passed a note to him. Bush then supposedly gave it to his wife, Laura, and she showed it to Jeb.” I looked at the posted video clip, but I was not seeing the exchange that was described. Maybe I am just not observant enough.....
