Was Sullivan referring to Flynn in this instance? Upon further review apparently not.
Interesting.
apparently he says this to all his defendants.. :)
Yes, he presumably was—Flynn was the only one with a plea before his court.
The reports I am hearing are that the judge doesn’t want Flynn to cop to something he didn’t do—and he wants to underscore that what Flynn is claiming he did is very serious. He would like to have him exonerated, I believe, but if Flynn were to reverse his plea at this point Flynn is probably afraid that Mueller would go after him the more for the Turkey non-registering thing, or something else.
<< “ Judge Sullivan just mentioned on Fox by Robert Ray, former Whitewater Independent Counsel I have never taken a guilty plea from someone who is not guilty, and I dont intend to start now. “ >>
YES!
And Praying Medic points out the money line on Twit that the lead attorney for the government answered Judge Sully’s “Treason” inquiry about FLYNN.
Prosecutor Brandon Van Grack said (treason) WAS NOT CONSIDERED.
Ding, ding, ding.
No idea. Michael Flynn wants to be sentenced for a crime he didn’t commit. The Judge does not want to sentence Flynn for a crime he didn’t commit. SO what does the judge do? Threaten to send him to jail for a crime he knows Flynn didn’t commit.
The way I see it, neither Mueller nor the Judge wants to fall into the trap by convicting Flynn. They both know that Flynn is innocent. Some say it’s to force Flynn to continue to flip on Trump via “other investigations”. Unless those “other investigations” are aimed at the swamp, I don’t believe that for a moment although I’m at a loss as to what is actually going here.
