Could you please re-word this? I don't see anything contracting, I don't see RC's denigrating the one truth church, etc. What are you talking about?
I am talking about the denial by RCs that the one true church is the Mystical Body of Christ as made up of all properly baptized believers in the risen Lord Jesus, including former RCs, now faithful evangelicals, versus the Mystical Body being the Catholic church, the two being one and the same, with true Church of Jesus Christ being the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic and Roman Church. And necessary to be part of for salvation, which schismatics and heretics (us by RC definition) are not part of, though souls who have an unconscious desire and longing to be part of her have a certain relationship with the Mystical Body.
Certainly the Mystical Body is not alone, being not without its visible manifestation, but your affirmation that the church is not the the Mystical Body of Jorge Bergoglio, but the Mystical Body of Christ, may sound like a broad affirmation of the Mystical Body as including born again believers in evangelical churches even who have formally separated from Rome, but this is contrary to what I see in certain papal teaching.
Doctrinally speaking (not individual cases), in the light of classic Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus teaching, where do you overall class former RCs as myself, who certainly know of the claims of Rome to be the necessary one true church, but objectively find them unwarranted in the light of the only wholly inspired substantive authoritative record of what the NT church believed?
Or is RC teaching on this cardinal issue too ambiguous?
