Did you forget that in David’s case Bethsheba’s husband was dead?

Matrimony is only for life, not forever. So it is perfectly possible for David to have had a valid exchange in the Catholic Church.

Yeah...."killed" in battle at David's order.

Matrimony is only for life, not forever. So it is perfectly possible for David to have had a valid exchange in the Catholic Church.

A marriage from the murder of the spouse would be allowed in Roman Catholicism????????

How would your church handle a situation where someone had an affair with a woman, murdered her husband, and then married her?
