My intuition is screaming...It looks to me like they had to go back and retrieve the documents. Did the derps taint the chain of custody in attempt to disallow all the WB’s evidence? Was this the counter? Future will prove past.

Somehow, Nate Cain’s name got out as a whistleblower in the Clinton Foundation ^investigation^ (key word, here).

Once that started to go “viral” among derps, DOJ (Huber/Whitaker/Sessions) put together a search warrant to get the documents and preserve them for the ^investigation^.

Up-shot is that Cain’s property was in danger of being “tossed” and, if he was at home at the time the derps invaded, his physical safety was at risk.

Derps may have been able to arrange a SWAT or...in the case of Cohen, arrange a convenient fire to gain access.

As I said later in the thread, DOJ has his 6.

It’s clear from the Q drop that the document collection was solely to preserve chain of custody and protect the whistle blower. And inferring that the derps wanted to get the documents and likely harm the WB.
