Schiff: Trump may face ‘real prospect of jail time’
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) on Sunday said that President Trump might "face the real prospect of jail time" after prosecutors indicated last week that he directed illegal payments during his 2016 presidential campaign.
"There’s a very real prospect that on the day Donald Trump leaves office, the Justice Department may indict him. That he may be the first president in quite some time to face the real prospect of jail time," he said on CBS's "Face the Nation."

He’s not taking LSD, he’s telling you what they want to do and are quite willing to do. If THEY had a prior administration as dead to rights as Hillary et al they’d be on trial right this minute. They needn’t worry about the law because...well.. they haven’t had to to this point.
If Trump is not re-elected in 2020, he will pardon Pence for any Federal crimes Pence may have ever committed and then Trump will resign and new-POTUS Pence will do the same for Trump.
Sort of the Nixon/Ford deal, but only done when the outcome of the election is known.
No trial. No jail.

Great strategy, and that would undoubtably guarantee that Pence be elected president in 2024.

The Southern District of NY is betting that they can indict a sitting president. We shall see if they can. My guess is that’s a bridge too far, constitutionally. They’ll probably settle for inducting the Don, Jr. — and he’ll certainly beat the charge cause collusion is not a crime.
The campaign finance charges... That’ll be a fine if they are proven. That’s a political traffic ticket as the Democrats have shown us time and again.
If true, at least Trump rewarded his women; he didn’t rape them, give them a bloody lip, and tell them to put ice on it like Hillary Clinton allowed her husband to do.

Time to release what the gang of 8 knew, and when they knew it. I can only guess that Trump has not declassified the information because he is trying to avoid an obstruction of justice charge, or the deep state will not comply if he orders it. They will keep the mueller probe alive until Trump is gone. Or if the deep state does not follow orders, it will weaken an already weakened POTUS. In the end, this is all on the republican party and I think this should be the end of the gop.
For God’s sake we put up with this but have done nothing about Clintons, Comey, Lynch,Stzrok, and all the others!
Make no mistake, this is what they want. Trump was a true outsider that dared to upset the plans of the uniparty. That is not allowed and he has to be made an example of so that nobody will ever try again. If dems can find a way to do it, they will and you can bet the GOPe won’t try to save him.
Congress paying off sexual harassment charges isn’t against the law. They MADE it legal.
