The manager at the grocery store said sales for this storm will be bigger than Christmas.
When I went to Kroger a bit ago they were jam packed. I asked an employee "Lots of milk, bread and toilet paper going out the door?" She said "Nah, mostly beer and cigarettes!"

You know, it’s interesting that people prep for hurricanes but not winter weather, and yet you guys are far more likely to get slammed with a nor’easter, than you are a hurricane.
Y’all really ought to prep for winter. Make sure you have a generator on hand and run it a few times a year to keep it in prime. Clean it in the fall and make sure you all have gas for it.
If you have a wood stove or fireplace, make sure you have plenty of dry wood in a location you won’t have to dig it out and thaw it out in.
Stock up on some essentials and don’t count on a trip to the store should bad weather happen. The shelves will all be stripped bare in no time flat.
Then you can sit back and watch the show.
Oh, and watch the weather forecasts. You can often have several days warning and be able to prep before the crowds catch wind of it.

It IS a 3 loaf alert however.

All of this is because of an illegal: diego el nino.

Up in the tri-cities in East Tennessee, nothing here yet.
Lots of crazy people out shopping, you would think that they don’t have a single thing in their cupboard and wouldn’t make it a few days. This happens every time there’s a storm here and I don’t get it.
In Tampa Bay, a nice sunny day it was. Tomorrow...rain is forecast. I guess it is climate change...
Your old stomping grounds expecting it around 12:30 to 1:00 tonight. Then it is 3-5 inches tonight and 8-12 inches tomorrow. Hope the power stays on.
