BTW big, if you cannot tell just... what that says in the window--
It... says:
Compliments of the Naval Officer manned Gemini 6 on their rendezvous with Army Commanded Gemini 7 on December 15, 1965 that proclaimed "BEAT ARMY"
Damn... straight!

Watching Gameday on ESPN now.
Go NAVY, beat Army. We will be the underdog this year as Army goes for 3 straight after the NAVY won 14 straight. NAVY leads the series 60-51-7.
Leni
Buzz Aldrin USMA
Frank Borman USMA
Ed White USMA
To name just a few!
The President usually attends.. why wouldn’t President Trump?!
Go Navy !
MAGA !
There was/is an innate institutional bias against USMA in the Astronaut ranks as their membership is frequently drawn from test & jet pilots. US Army is the sole service branch not flying fixed-wing combat jets. Some USMA grads can or could elect to transfer to USAF with permission.
In keeping with this NASA theme, we are 13 days from the 50th (Golden) anniversary of Apollo 8, the Christmas Lunar Orbit mission of 21 to 27 December 1968 by Frank Borman, James Lovell & William Anders! While it had one USN service member (Lovell), it had two USNA graduates (Lovell & Anders)! Of course the mission commander was a USMA graduate (Borman). Both Borman and Anders shifted services to USAF after their respective graduations.
Navy is up by 2 historic wins to this point. When Navy was on a roll in this series they erased a significant deficit and took the lead. Army is on a 2-game winning streak going in to this year’s edition.
Ignore my earlier post. I thought Navy was only up by 2 in the series. That’s what I get for repeating what I (thought I) heard on the radio driving home in Friday night traffic.
“Some USMA grads can or could elect to transfer to USAF with permission.”
Seems like I’ve read about a lot of recent service academy graduates who have been commissioned in another branch of the service other than the one represented by their own academy. Not sure of the reasons or even if there’s a trend.
I’ve heard that the USAF is short pilots, so maybe that’s it?
FLY NAVY
Yeah, have to say those uniforms are really good looking, and I generally couldn’t care less about that type of thing.
Go Navy!
But Army is going to kill them.
Nice to see a game with real students playing.
I hate these “new” uniforms.
They should go back to the classic look. Although I did like the Navy helmets that had the anchor on them.
I just wanted to know if anyone here knew if the Pres would be attending.

Leather helmets and steel balls.
