Renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson will be investigated by Fox and National Geographic Networks after allegations of sexual misconduct were leveled against him.

Patheos.com published accounts Thursday from two women who say that Tyson behaved in a sexually inappropriate manner with them.

Tyson was host of “Cosmos” on Fox in 2014 and a new edition of the series was to air on National Geographic next year.

Tyson has not commented publicly and an email request for comment to his representative was not immediately returned. …

I don’t like the guy one bit.

However: “two women who say that Tyson behaved in a sexually inappropriate manner with them” amounts to what can be a VERY subjective case. In todays social environment, created by the feminazis, “behaved in a sexually inappropriate manner” means just about anything that a person declares to them was “inappropriate”, whether any such intention or understanding of the idea existed on the part of whomever the claim is made against.

I am not saying the claim is bogus, only that there are lots of bogus claims that do get made today under the rubric of “behaved in a sexually inappropriate manner”.

In mixed company today, it is best for men to behave as if they have zero sexual identity at all - committed celibate eunuchs.

Dirty secret: the physics establishment has gone every bit as far left as any wymyns studies department. That’s why this token with the midget IQ pretending to be smart is a media name in the first place.

Witholding judgement until the evidence is presented

Good Post. He deserves his day in court in an unbiased mannner, not the way Kavanaugh was treated. Kavanaugh's treatment was a travesty.

Or, at least, be honest and announce the two more planets and then say, “oh, and by the way... we really need to define planets differently so Pluto, Haumeamea, etc., are recognized as different from the larger planets.”

Personally, I think if it’s large enough that its gravity crushes it into a spherical shape, and it rotates directly around a star, it should be a planet.

If it’s that large and rotates around another planet, it’s a moon.

If it’s NOT that large, it’s a dwarf planet or a sattelite.

Because another pet peeve is that they call every asteroid that gets caught into orbiting a planet a “moon.”

[Bill Nye involved ?]

I don’t know if Bill Nye was involved. I DO know that Bill Nye is an expert on everything. Here, Bill Nye reshapes our thinking. Gosh, she’s a wonderful singer. (prepare yourselves)

Bill Nye feels it “is very special”. I can’t imagine why parts of our country are going down the toilet.

Absolutely right. This guy is a total joke and it’s beyond stupid that people regard him as a leading scientist. If he was such a great scientist, he’d be doing that instead of getting his pie-hole on TV every place he can. This guy is all marketing and absolutely nothing else. The guy hasn’t published in a peer-reviewed journal in over 20 years, not doing much science there, Copernicus!

Pluto has an atmosphere and space probe data proves that its geology is every bit as dynamic and complex as any inner planet.

No joke. “Renowned physicist”, show me what groundbreaking science he’s published. You can’t, all he’s doing is recycling the work of others. I’ll give him props for being a good pitch-man. With the help of good marketing, I appreciate him helping get people interested in science. But legitimate physicist this guy isn’t. He got kicked out of his Ph.D. program at Univ. of Texas, cried racism, and found another school that would give him his affirmative-action degree.

“The possibility of an impact this century on Uranus.” No kidding. “That’s pronounced, ‘oo-RAHN-iss” now, Mr. Tyson.”
