Buzzfeed reporter Adolfo Flores posted to Twitter a report from the announcement, A group of women from the caravan just announced theyre going on a hunger strike in Tijuana to demand immediate Mexican temporary humanitarian visas while they wait for asylum in the US, the US to speed up the asylum process at the border, and stop to deportations of caravaners
The hunger strike will be held at a border crossing for visibility (and media photo-ops.)

If things were so bad, why bring 9 children into this world?
Given that famous picture, I think a diet might just be what these women need.
I know, way too old to wear diapers. I read some reports on Mexico News that when the caravan was going through Veracruz, several children and women were kidnapped to be sold as sex slaves. That’s probably why they were provided transportation with police escort to get to Tijuana.
So the father left his family in that dangerous place, then let them make that dangerous journey, and we’re supposed to think these are admirable people?
People have let their kids throw tantrums to get what they want when they were toddlers and on up, and that’s what they get.
So they’re going on the Venezuela diet.
Trying to get skinny enough to fit through the fence slats.
HA! WINNING! Starve all you want, you are NOT GETTING IN!
QUICK< Someone bake them some brownies to eat. Hint hint hint.
Of course, the Tijuana Mayor may be able to cut off their food supplies to help them in their quest to eschew food.....
