Did you say Huawei?

Pronounced "why-way".

When I was at their Shenzhen plant they pronounced it "hwa-way". Might be the difference between Guangdung-wah (Cantonese) and Putung-wah (National Language--Mandarin).

Hah! Okay now I'm laughing because I realize what I did. You see, I have a bit of a drawl so when I type "why way", in my head, I hear it like you wrote it, "hwa way".

Your way is better! I'm still laughing.

If you heard me say "Don't you want a Huawei phone?" if I was feeling a little lazy it would sound closer to "don chu won't a hwa way pho-oun".
