Because it IS Jesus. Jesus told us that Himself. (And, ‘cookies’ is incorrect and actually a mockery of Christ. Please, don’t.)

My answer would have been Catholics do NOT worship saints, and that it is the mystical, non-bloody re-presentation of Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross. I meant to make clear I was responding to BlessedbeGod’s comments on how asking innocent sounding questions turns into full on attack, but I sort of forgot to explain it or use a sarc tag. Ooops. Sorry.

Pray for me, a sinner.
